Travel Hockey

CCYHA is one of the largest and most successful travel programs in the state. We are an American Development Model (ADM) compliant program with the objective of long-term development. Our mission is to provide an opportunity for young people to learn the rules and skills of ice hockey through supervised instruction and competition while emphasizing the ideals of good sportsmanship and teamwork.

THE MISSION OF CONNECTICUT CHIEFS HOCKEY, LLC IS TO PROMOTE THE ATHLETIC & PERSONAL CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT OF THOSE PLAYERS WHO WISH TO EXCEL AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF HOCKEY COMPETITION USA HOCKEY HAS TO OFFER.THE CT CHIEFS WILL SEEK EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR STUDENT-ATHLETES. WE WILL AID OUR STUDENT-ATHLETES IN SUCCESSFULLY GAINING THOSE OPPORTUNITIES.WE WILL ACHIEVE THESE GOALS BY PROVIDING A QUALITY CONSISTENT ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR PLAYERS, COACHES, & FAMILIES.THE CHIEFS HAVE ADVANCED OVER 560 PLAYERS TO PREP, JUNIOR, COLLEGE, AND PRO HOCKEY SINCE 2008-2009 SEASON.

Developed in large part thanks to rising numbers and tremendous interest across the Greater Hartford region, the goal of this collaborative effort is to provide an opportunity for girls of various ages and skill levels to have a local place to play hockey, while simultaneously helping to build and grow a unique program to compete at all levels against other girls and boys programs throughout CT and New England. We have built and continue to enhance an environment for our players to have a great experience, develop as hockey players, learn teamwork, and have a ton of fun both on and off the ice.
